Daniel Blockert, Ambassador, Permanent Representative of Sweden to the WTOThrough the session, we want to stimulate a more informed discussion of how small and medium-sized enterprises experience their trading environment, particularly with respect to the trade barriers they face. To what extent is their experience different from multinational enterprises? Are there special SME problems in international trade and what are they? The session relies in part on the results of a new business survey commissioned by the Swedish National Board of Trade, but we also wish to let voices from the business community be heard – in this case from a small firm that trades.
