World Tariff Profiles 2025
World Tariff Profiles 2025 provides comprehensive information on the tariffs and non-tariff measures imposed by over 170 countries and customs territories. It is a joint publication of the WTO, the International Trade Centre and UN Trade and Development (UNCTAD).
Summary tables, providing data for each economy, list the average “bound” (maximum) tariffs that each economy can apply to its imports from other WTO members, as well as the tariffs actually applied. Tariffs are listed for both agricultural and non-agricultural products as of end-2024.
One-page profiles offer more detailed data for each economy, listing tariffs by product group based on the 2023 Multilateral Trade Negotiations (MTN) Categories, the product classification system used by the WTO for trade statistics and policy analysis. The profiles also show the tariffs imposed on each economy's exports by its main trading partners.
Statistics on non-tariff measures (NTMs), such as anti-dumping measures, countervailing measures and safeguards, are also provided by economy and product group to complement the tariff data.
This year's edition has as its special topic global trade on most-favoured-nation (MFN) terms. It examines the MFN principle, whereby all trading partners are treated equally, and how it continues to promote stability in world trade despite recent trade tensions and variation in MFN trade shares across economies and product groups.
