Russia
concludes goods negotiations with 29 members
The Russian Federation, at the 27th session of its Working Party on 13 and 15 April 2005, reported the completion of bilateral negotiations on goods with a total of 29 WTO members (the EC counting as one), which represents 50% of members of the Working Party and 87% of total Russian imports.

The 27th session of the Working Party for the accession of the
Russian Federation to the WTO, on 13th and 15th April 2005, continued and
concluded the examination of a 揷ompendium?of 121 pages that contains
requests for clarifications, demands, proposals for commitments and new
language for the Working Party report, submitted by members.
Russia reported the completion of bilateral negotiations on goods with a
total of 29 members (EC as one), which represents 50% of members of the
Working Party and 87% of total Russia's imports.
The chairman of the Working Party, ambassador Stefan Johannesson of Iceland,
submitted on his own responsibility new texts for the revision of the
Working Party Report that will be considered in future meetings.
