The 2025 Public Forum will examine how a modernized, digitalized trading system can improve living standards, create jobs, and support sustainable resource management.

Applications

Proposals for Public Forum sessions can only be submitted online using this form. To access the form, you will need an account to log on to the WTO website. If you do not already have an account, please create one here.

The deadline for submission of applications is 23:59 (CET) on 22 June 2025. Any application submitted after this time will not be considered.

General information

• Sessions must be composed of no more than 5 speakers (including the moderator).
• Sessions must be conducted in an official language (English, French or Spanish) of the WTO.
• The WTO will only consider panels that are diverse and balanced, including with regard to geography and perspective.

Selection Process

The WTO is responsible for the selection process. To qualify for selection, your organisation needs to complete the online application form by 22 June 2025. Please note that the number of available slots is limited. Selection will be based on creativity, relevance of the topic, and diversity of the panellists.

The selection process will be finalised by mid-July.

Format

The Public Forum will be held in person at the WTO premises in Geneva.  Participation costs are not covered by the WTO.
