For the first time, the WTO Public Forum 2025 will feature a Trade Policy Hub, designed to foster engagement between researchers and policy professionals. This initiative, in collaboration with the Trade Policy Research Forum, aims to identify synergies, enhance the flow of information in both directions, and translate rigorous research findings into policy insights.

The Trade Policy Hub will feature concise, policy-oriented presentations alongside poster sessions, showcasing how recent research informs trade policy. A senior policy professional will chair the sessions, ensuring a dynamic exchange during dedicated Q&A discussions. These interactions will provide a unique opportunity for researchers and policy experts to explore key findings in depth.

By complementing the broader Public Forum discussions, the Trade Policy Hub will help bridge research and policymaking, fostering dialogue on the most pressing trade issues and future research directions.

We invite submissions from researchers whose work has significant policy relevance. This is a unique opportunity to showcase research to the policy community and expand professional networks. Submissions should explicitly highlight the policy implications of the research and ensure that presentations are accessible to a broad audience.

While there is no registration fee, presenters will need to cover their own travel and accommodation costs.
