Trade Dialogues
The WTO has started a series of dialogues with stakeholders, where they can highlight issues they find important. The first of these “Trade Dialogues” was held at the WTO's headquarters in May 2016 at the request of the private sector.

Trade dialogues with business
Dialogue with the private sector was the starting point for the Trade Dialogues series. The aim is to offer businesses the opportunity to discuss ideas and concerns about trade issues. Since 2016, the WTO has facilitated four meetings, welcoming business people from around the world, including representatives of both small and large companies as well as associations from a wide variety of sectors.

Trade Dialogues on Food
As part of its Trade Dialogues initiative, the WTO is launching Trade Dialogues on Food, with the aim of encouraging a debate on the role of international trade in food security. Experts from governments, non-governmental organizations, businesses, academia, think tanks and foundations will be invited to discuss the most topical issues in food trade. Each discussion can be watched live.
Trade Dialogues Lecture Series
As part of its Trade Dialogues series, the WTO will be inviting leading technical experts to share their insights with WTO members and the broader trade community on important economic and policy developments. The initial lectures, organized by the Economic Research and Statistics Division, will focus on the latest research on trade and labour market effects.
