Atelier sur le commerce 閘ectronique, le d関eloppement et les petites et moyennes entreprises (PME)
Un atelier aura lieu les lundi 8 et mardi 9 avril 2013 ?l’OMC afin de mettre en 関idence le lien entre le commerce 閘ectronique et le d関eloppement et d’examiner comment les PME des pays en d関eloppement utilisent le commerce 閘ectronique pour la promotion, la commercialisation, l’entretien et la vente de leurs produits au niveau national et ?l’閠ranger. L’atelier portera principalement sur les possibilit閟 et les difficult閟 rencontr閟 par les pays en d関eloppement et 関aluera dans quelle mesure ces questions en rapport avec des infrastructures, une r間lementation et des investissements suffisants dans le domaine des t閘閏ommunications aident ou g阯ent les PME dans la recherche de nouvelles possibilit閟 offertes par le commerce 閘ectronique.

The two-day workshop will feature presentations by representatives from the public and private sector. Experts from non-governmental organizations and academia are also being invited as speakers. A key focus of the workshop will be on how companies and governments operate in the area of e-commerce and Information Communications Technology in general and what is being done to help small rural communities and businesses improve their productive, commercial and business performance.
